Holiday Sickness
Friday night Riley had the pukes and now this morning Raygan woke up with it. Trick or treating is not going to be fun unless they get rid of this. We might need to use our cute little trick or treating bags for barf bags, Ewwwwww! That stinks because the kids are so pumped up to go. Riley's sickness lasted 1 day and hopefully Raygan's will be done before tomorrow night. I cannot wait for tomorrow night. I need to leave work and make pizzas and then get everyone in costumes. Our neighbor kids would be mad if we did not at least go around with them a little bit and then off to the harvest party at church. Monday I hit the 20 pound weight loss. After 600 pounds of Halloween candy I will keep you all posted on how much I put back on.

Getting In The Halloween Mood
Here are some pictures of the kids' Halloween shirts. We let the kids pick out the stencil they wanted for the pumpkin and let them scoop out the guts. They all were a little grossed out but Riley didn't even want to touch it, he kept saying how gross it was. Afterwards we roasted the seeds. Devon and Ryan liked them and Raygan tried a few. They were kind of addicting. We are going to have a pizza party before they go out trick-or-treating Friday night and we should have pictures of their costumes then.

Weekend Fun
We are planning a relaxing and yet productive weekend. I was sick all last weekend and first of the week with flu-like symptoms. I am wanting to take the kids to Parky's Farm Halloween Festival Saturday night. They have games, non-scary haunted house, (what's the point?) hayrides, corn maze, and lots of food. Hopefully weather will permit us to go and not be too cold. Mom and Dad's birthday party is tonight so we are going out to eat and celebrate with them. Sunday is going to be Mount Laundry Catchup Day for me. Pants and sweatshirts accumulate so much more laundry than the summer clothes when you have 5 people's laundry. Save the date for Sunday, November 9th 1:00 for Raygan's birthday party.

Pictures From Vicki's
Although it does not look like it, the kids did get to ride on the 4-wheeler. Jesse did hog it a little and since Vicki is hooked on my honey she took this picture. He is going for the bad-boy pose I guess.

Raygan is not as crazy as she looks, she does have a pet mouse in her hands. She was not sure at first her friend Raylen reassured her that it was a fun pet to have.

School Pics
Since the school is a rip off with picture prices we are getting the kids done at Wal-Mart again. You know you are a hillbilly when you have your school pictures done at Wal-Mart. I figured saving at least $100 between all 4 of them is a nobrainer since I am nowhere near rich. I will pass them out when we get them all in. Raygan's without a front tooth so this ought to be a blackmail picture later on in life.
Raygan Will Be Six
I can still remember the long sleepless nights with my screaming beautiful baby girl. I cannot believe how fast time goes. She is turning six and acts like a teenager already. This year I agreed to have 5-6 girls sleepover for Raygan's birthday. I will need asprin and lots of nerve pills. Lord knows we will not get any sleep. She is also having a princess party. I am making her cake and I am decorating it with tiaras and other girly stuff. We will have a pizza party for family and friends and then the sleepover the following weekend. It would be too much all in one.

Hip Hip Horray
I have not yet talked about my dilemma of my wedding dress. I special ordered the dress of my dreams. It took a while to come in and in that time I gained a mass amount of weight. Needless to say it did not come near fitting me, I could not even get it zipped. My wedding coordinator did not want to sell me a dress that does not fit. It was a real eye opener for me. Since then over the last several months I have changed my lifestyle of eating and exercising. I am pleased to say that I have lost 18 pounds and want to lose at least 13 more. My dress is actually too big now. I have up to a year to exchange it so I plan on waiting to exchange it till all my weight is off. Jesse has lost around 20 and has continued with his weight lifting and has had great results. Anything is possible when you put your mind to it.

Halloween At The Zoo
We went to the Cincinnati Zoo this weekend where they have some activites for the younger kids during the day. They gave the kids tickets that they could use at treat stations to get candy. Thank you to Trent and Mary Ann for getting us in.

HALLOWEEN... HERE WE COME
It is very interesting taking four scaredy cats to a Halloween store to pick out costumes. Jesse scared the pee out of them putting on a mask. Halloween night should be interesting this year. Devon is going to be a Clone Trooper. Ryan and Riley both Ninjas, and Ray is going to be Belle. It is so exciting to see their faces light up when they find the costume they want. Jesse worked on some computers for friends and earned enough money to buy them their costumes this year. He is so good to them and me. Thanks, Jesse. We are threatening to take Devon and Ryan to a mild Haunted House this year because they pretend to be all big and bad. I bet I can scare them.
