Get well soon Dad

Last Tuesday night my Dad was hospitalized with a serious foot infection. He is still there after 8 days and so ready to come home. He is really depressed about having to go through all of this. Mom really depends on him for transportation, taking care of things around the house and he really wants to come home and not be stuck in the room all day long. Please pray for his foot to heal and that he gets well soon so we can spend some time with him.

Snow Days

School was cancelled for the kids due to the snow upcoming, Jesse worked from home today but I had to go to school. The drive there was fine but while sitting in class and watching it fall down rapidly I knew the drive home would not be fun. Almost taking a hour to get home I was a ball of nerves from sliding all over the road. It was not the best excitement I have had all week. I was bound and determined to make it to school today because I have perfect attendance and cannot seem to settle for nothing less at this point. We have had about 4 inches of snow fall today and although it does not sound like a lot it made driving conditions not very fun. The kids while driving Jesse crazy while working have been playing the Wii and also playing with Christmas gifts. The kids got a lot in money and gift cards so I told them that they could use some on new sheets and comforters. Raygan now has a Hannah Montana room, Devon has a cool black and red dragon room. Riley and Ryan share a room with bunk beds, Riley has Star Wars and Ryan of course is Spongebob. They look really cute. Devon's room was transitioned into a pre teen room and then next we are moving onto decluttering the other rooms when we get the notion. In the Spring we are planning on getting rid of a lot and possibly having a yard sale.
